India, a nation plagued by terrorism

God saves those who save themselves. This modified quote is perfectly suited for our country in the current scenario. This country is being blooded for over two centuries in many forms by many rulers. But what is most shocking and unfortunate too that after independence that violence has not stopped. Now our Independence is 63 years old but where is the respite from this bloodbath?
There are separatists & militants in Kashmir keep bleeding India every other day. And there are home grown terror modules like KLO, ULFA, Naxalites, Maoists, IM and many other small outfits killing India by thousand cuts day after day. Previously the terror was predominantly a regional problem for Kashmir and some other north-eastern states but now it has spread its tentacles all over India. Even in smaller cities like Baranasi, Kanpur, Pune, Hyderabad, Pondicheri, Goa, Jaipur are under terror network. After the Mumbai 26/11 carnage much have been promised by our govt. to nip the terrorism in its bud and protect the citizens. But still after one year slumber it reappeared in Pune and claimed so many young lives, so many dreams shattered, so many promises buried under the dust. Who is responsibilities for their untimely death? none other than our damn, corrupt security system. It proves govt. has not learned much from its past. Our home minister was very mean to say all public places can not be made totally fool-proof and all persons can not be frisked by person. It is a complete surrender by our honourable Home minister to terrorism. Can't he see what is happening in US and UK? has there any mentionable terror attack occurred after the 9/11 and the London terror attack. How can they secure their county for so long that we could not? Time is ticking and the terrorists outfits might be planning their next terror target in the country. It is time for the civil society to come forward and roll their sleeves up to force the govt. to act or perish.
