Finally time of all speculations are over and the results are out and it is a thrilling one for the people of this country. Who could have ever hoped in his wildest imagination that one major national party will do a complete sweep of all analysis and calculations and achieve a convincing victory? Until the moment the counting had begun in the morning every political experts, analysts and even the exit poll surveys were showing a very fragmented vote share and a probable dominance of regional parties at the center stage.But once the results started unveiling one after another the Congress with its current allies of UPA were leading every leaps and bounds. Finally they went too far ahead of the main opposition party NDA, lead by BJP. What is most startling fact emerged in this election is that the so called third front, projected as an alternative to the two main national parties, has fallen on its face. CPM has experienced the worst ever defeat in nearly 25 years in West Bengal. There was a hint that after the Mahajot between Congress and TMC in west bengal the left might face a tough challenge and their no. of seats might dip. But the result of West Bengal surely surpassed all speculations and forcasts as the Left had to eat its own words of industrialization in West Bengal. The Mamata majic sweeped as many as 26 seats out of 42, with its ally Congress. It's really pity for Mr. L.K. Advani that this time too his party could not make it and he will have to wait for until the next Loksava election to fulfill his dream of becoming the PM. But what came as a boon for indian politics and the people of india at large is that there would not be a govt at the center which is weak, dependent on the reginal allies for its survival. Rather Congress as the single largest party in UPA can make their policy decisions on their own and without being swayed by other parties. it is undoubtedly a good news for a stable govt. and also for Indian economy. Hence, Manmohon Singh has shown the world that Singh is trully a King.
